This place is inconveniently located far enough away that I've only passed by a few times, and always on Monday when it was closed. I was thrilled to find it open yesterday, and look at some of the gorgeous plants that were in there! My knees are sore from falling in love...!

Elephant ear (Colocasia)

Ghost plant, Graptopetalum paraguayense, I think

Cane Begonia

A really tall one

Begonia, this one I think (Cane Begonia (Begonia 'Corallina de Lucerna')) The giant new cane to the left was at least an inch in diameter. She said she'd just trimmed it.

Looks like Swedish ivy, Plectranthus verticillatus.

I had to bring these 2 Begonias home, around $7-8 each. I first approached the register with one large Begonia, a small Coleus & a 3-pack of Cleome. She said I was only up to $13, so I added another gorgeous Begonia, which brought the total for all 4 to $20. I thought it was a superb deal! I'm so in love with these!:

@Seedfork, have you been here? It's called Sue's, on Rt. 27 just south of the circle in Enterprise.

Yes, her husband Ray went to school with me, but he passed away very early in life sad to say, he always seemed to be such a happy person.

Wow, great haul Tiffany ... and all four plants for a total of $20!! I'd love to find deals like that here!!

The Colocasia looks like Elephant's Ear (Colocasia esculenta 'Mojito')

The Ginger looks like Variegated Shell Ginger (Alpinia zerumbet 'Variegata')

The Orchid looks like Nun's Cap Orchid (Calanthe tankervilleae)

The Bromeliad looks like Urn Plant (Aechmea fasciata)

And, check out these Begonias for comparison with yours:

Angel Wing (Begonia 'My Special Angel')

Trailing Begonia (Begonia 'Withlacoochee')

Angel Wing Begonia (Begonia 'Sinbad')

How did I forget this cute little Plectranthus??! I got it there too, so it was 5 plants for $20.

Looks like I also forgot to show this GIANT, HUGE orchid. It was growing in a home-made-looking wood hanging trough thing:

Larry, IDK if you have the same affinity for potted tropicals? There were annuals & perennials too. ;)

TY, Lin! Your suggestions match what I was thinking for a few of them, but I wasn't sure enough to put more info above. That ginger was with the perennial plants. Looks like we're prob at the N edge of its' hardiness in this area, but I'm willing to try (& prob bring a piece inside, just in case.) Those leaves are just so pretty. She had those under shade cloth. Do you agree it's a mostly-shade plant? I was confused to see the Colo out in the sun. If it's like the plain C. esculenta, I've seen how that grows much bigger in shade than sun here. Is this variegated kind one that you have?

Deborah, there were about 4-5 diff kinds of orchids, but for some reason, they intimidate the heck out of me. The whole thing about keeping them alive... and as a confirmed spaz, worried about breaking the flower stalks. Is that kind more unusual? I forgot to sniff any of them... hopeless!

All around the ground inside the GH, there were a bunch of diff kinds of plants that had taken root. When I go back, I'm going to ask if she can give me a good price on a few of those too. I don't mind waiting longer for them to get bigger.

I know would be out of house and food. I would be living in the dog house and drinking rain water if I found a houseplant nursery like that in my area. You got some great deals.
