If you have too many peonies blooming at the same time, you can use this to extend your enjoyment of peonies later provided that you have free refrigerator space. Thanks Karen. I would love to extend the life of some of my blooms and this sounds like the way to go.

I have seen peony flowers which have been treated with ? a silica substance? so the blossoms
last indefinitely. I bought a kit at Michaels Craft Store, but have not used it.
It is a Flower Preservative kit.
The flowers are usually left on the plant here, as I want to collect seeds.
