We've had some rough weather in Texas. I pulled quite a few pots up on the patio, "just in case we had hail." I thought the oak trees would offer some protection to the rest. The hail shredded the leaves off the oak trees too!

The buds are still growing even though the leaves have dried and fallen off. I think they'll recover, but by the time they do, it'll be really hot here. Always something!

Oh...Sandi...there goes part of the early season...but for hail hitting them...they are looking great...and if part of the budS are left intact you'll be able to enjoy them...
Doris...you got hit a good bit harder...nice collection of ice in July.. The good news...we'll...maybe there's no good news...at least there's a good part of the season left for them to rebuild...
I got hit with the hail here one year...it was such a heart break...so I do understand...
Oh..just saw the dates...ya'll are well over it then

@GordonHawk ,the brugs are all doing well and I'm looking forward to early fall flowers! We had so much rain this spring. It was glorious! Now,it's time to hunker down for the dog days of summer. No rain in sight. Still under water restrictions because of the past few years of drought. We're also under restrictions at the lake, so we have to drive up there to water on weekends, then drive back to water here! I have too many pots!

Miss your wonderful hospitality. Come see us if you're in our neck of the woods this summer!
