Well I don't see a May 2015 blooms listing so here it is.
I only have one new bloom opened today.
FFO on Parisian Adventure:
Thumb of 2015-05-01/Seedfork/e84a1f
We are having very cool mornings and my daylilies are not opening like they should, and the FFO are not so pretty so far. Hoping the warm weather will improve things.
I have waited for two days for this poor Candy Gram to open, but I think now it is past its prime and still has not managed to open.

Larry, alot of my daylilies are not opening right either. I had no idea they would be so bothered by weather in the 50's...but they are.

This 50 degree thing is new to me also, even some of the old NOids are having trouble opening, and when they do the color is all drained out of them and they look so pale and blahh.

These blooms are from May 1st and 2nd, and things are really starting to happen here -- I"m already having a hard time keeping up, and it's just beginning!

DRAGONFLY DAWN - so much prettier than that first bloom - I love it!

Amazing flowers, Betty. Wow.

I have one new NOID, a very pale peachy one, blooming this morning. It came from a seedling box from @tink last summer. Thanks! So far they're all beautiful.

Wow, pretty ones, Lyle. That LITTLE MUCHA MINTO is the first one I've seen that I really think has blue. Most of the others claiming to be blue just seem like shades of lavender, lilac or various purples to me.

Wonder if your dry climate helps the blue color to stay true. Here, it seems anything with red bleeds into the other colors on the flower if the flower gets wet.

Had several new booms in the garden today, some named daylilies and some NOids. The named ones are still looking pale and dull. But I did like this NOid, with a little twist to it.

That one reminds me of Selma Longlegs, which I enjoyed a lot. I think I may go rummage in all the healthy foliage it has and look for a scape. Scapes seem to be coming along slowly. The EE and E designations are lagging way behind several EMs. Makes me wonder if that late and very cold freezing spell knocked out the scapes and the few that I see on a couple now are actually rebloom scapes. They were mostly blooming in order last year, but won't this year.

I had noticed that also, about the mids blooming before the earlies, but had not thought about the scapes on the early ones being damaged.

As the weather is starting to warm up a bit, the blooms are opening better and the second and third blooms are showing more color.

Blooming Today:
Crimson Pirate:FFO
Thumb of 2015-05-04/Seedfork/853c68
Red Apparition: Unusual for a Red to get better as the day goes on, this may change when the hot weather gets here.

Volusion Spider: Hard to photo the very dark and light contrasts.

Awesome Blossom

NOid, this bloom is so pale and washed out I can't tell yet what it might be.
FFO, hopefully the next blooms will have a more defined pattern, and more color.
