Paul,

I always feel pretty good when I see my hosta coming up in the spring! I'm looking at them and thinking they're looking pretty good...And then you post pictures of yours and I want to get the Round Up out! Your gardens are beautiful as always!

Thanks Rose. My Hostas raise my spirit to. Some areas in my yard I have been diligent enough that weeds are not a problem. I just did one bed with what I call a winged weeder and cut off some very small weeds. I planted a new to my garden Hosta yesterday named Royal Wedding. Then I was disappointed to find that it is not listed at the Hosta Library or on the ATP data base. My Hosta Magazine came today and also a book of recent registrations and I am happy I found it there. I hope that with Hosta season on us and approaching in northern gardens that we can stimulate some conversation on this forum......I need to go a friend who has an extensive collection and take pictures and then in a couple of weeks we are going to the Hosta House in Salt Lake City. Google Hosta House to get a feel for what a nice place it is. I plan on taking pictures there.......

Paul,

You misunderstood my comment! I want to get the Round up and use it on my hostas! Yours are always so pretty and healthy looking. Makes me realize once again that I have underachievers!
