We re-potted every single cactus in our container cactus garden and they totally responded, they look tons better,
we even planted single ones that use to share a pot. My husband said he read you should re-pot every year
for fresh cactus dirt. We have some sort of tall pencil cactus prior to re-pot looked skinny and ill, now they are all
plumped up nice and fat...they get more water now because they were planted with another cactus that likes it
on the dry side. So glad I took my husband`s advice and together we had a re-pot cactus session.

The ones in the red wheel barrow called pencil something I think...were skinny and sickly looking, now they look
plump and happy after storing up the water they drank. I do have before pictures, but if i post them you really can`t see the difference
without a zoom, would be hard to really see.

There are a couple with the common name of Pencil Cactus. http://garden.org/plants/searc... I can't see yours close up but I wonder if they might be the Klein's Pencil Cactus?
