Rainy day here. I was looking through the badges and noticed that all the regions are together because they start the same "Region: xxx." The animals, on the other hand, are rather scattered. Some are "Lover of..." others are "Keeps..." or "Raises..." Still others are just the animal name. To group them all together, I would suggest changing the title of each animal badge to "Likes or keeps..." which seems to cover most animals. Just a random, and rather insignificant, thought. Back to my boredom...

Or we could go even more generic and say:

"Animals: ..."

That would work as well. Even though I have cats, I'd hesitate to call myself a 'cat lover' - sounds too much like the crazy cat lady.

Or we could eliminate the words 'likes', 'keeps' or 'raises' and just say 'cats', 'bees', 'sheep', 'goats', 'cows', etc. Shrug! ?? It seems to already be working for birds, butterflies, dragonflies, frogs and toads, mules. Thumbs up

That would be fine but it wouldn't give the benefit of grouping them together in one place (Since the list is sorted alphabetically.)

Well, um, if i am looking (alphabetically) for 'bees' I would not think to look at 'L' for 'likes'; I would look under 'b'.

How about:
Animals; bees
Animals; butterflies
Animals; goats
Animals; mules
etc.
Would that work? Easy to find under 'animals' then alphabetically to their favorite animal.

Well, then I guess you might need to put the bees and butterflies under the 'insect' heading.
I just gave myself a headache.
I'll try again tomorro Rolling on the floor laughing w.

Another approach might be to divide the badge list into sub-lists: Gardening Badges, Regional Affiliations, Creatures, Fun Stuff. That would eliminate the need for a preface. Perhaps even add in the Earned Badges with a short explanation of what they are and how they can/could be earned.

Well, it was either pick apart the ATP site or do the dishes. C'mon, now. Which is more fun. Whistling
Actually, I was thinking that if someone got Llamas they would either be 'Lovers of Llamas, Llama keepers, or Keepers of Llamas...but then my brain did that thing it does and started to wonder about Gnus. Does anyone in the USA actually keep those?
I still get a kick out of 'alphabetical' everywhere I encounter it in this life. It's kind of subjective I guess. Rolling on the floor laughing

My former neighbor's parents keep Llamas and Alpacas in OH. Even though we don't have any, I'd get a Llama/Alpaca badge if it were offered, just because they look so cute! Lovey dubby
