There is a vine that comes up every year and the flower looks like sweet peas and a beautiful purple. Is there a name for it or is it just a wild thing? cillay

Do you have a photo? There may be several possibilities. The first that popped in my mind was vetch.

Hairy Vetch (Vicia villosa)

I do not have photos but vetch is not it. The little blowers look exactly like sweet peas but much smaller. Thanks cillay

The Common Vetch perhaps?

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.
