I have spent the past week on 'couch' rest from being a bit over zealous in my flower beds. Time well spent--reading blogs and threads galore. I have enjoyed seeing everyone's gardens and flowers, especially the irises.
My style of gardening is chop, lop, plop, and sometimes flop. I am constantly torn between lush and full vs. room to showcase each plant. I am weeding out the thugs and fiddly little plants and moving towards a little more order. In my pictures you will see good, bad and ugly. I have weeds and rust and insects and sometime even a toy or two from my precious, rambunctious grandchildren. Such is my life. Glad to be here.

I hope you've had fun browsing ATP during your "couch rest", I think you will love it here. Your gardening style of chop, lop, plop and sometimes flop sounds like me too! I always have good intentions for specific beds, plant placement etc. but I usually just end up sticking plants here, there ... wherever.

Ha, I can definitely relate to the "flop" part. Sigh. Particularly after wandering around seeing what didn't make it through this past winter. But there were some pleasant surprises, too. That's part of what makes it all fun.
