It looks like it......short, early bloomer ? Snow maiden was registered as a "Dwarf iris" (1935), but would be considered an SDB, now.
Tell me about "the one named for a Nun" ! Looks a lot like my NOID #6 (AKA "Mrs. B's"), which I *believe to be Pink Satin, or, possibly ,Helen Field Fischer.

Arlyn I went email hunting Hurray! This is not the Nun one " Mary Francis' it is #6 from you last year and the white looks like #8 also from last year Hurray! They are both tall about 27 to 29" and smell nice

Shannon -- that beauty that you posted as from me, is not Epicenter, I don't think. Here's a pic of my Epicenter:

My picture does not pick up how dark this Iris is -- description calls it cherry black -- and the color in the center of the falls is pale yellow. If your picture is accurate, yours is red and white? It looks more like Spice Lord?

I'm sorry that I don't keep records of what I send to whom -- so I don't know if I sent you Epicenter.
