I have a 20 by 10 foot plot with mostly heirloom tomatos/ peppers/ squash watermelons that kind of thing. and I was wondering what herbs/ things I could get at the local farmers market would be good companion plants. Hurray!

basil I know is good?

Anything else?

We started planting Greek Oregano last year. Oregano is supposed to repel mosquitoes, cucumber beetles and cabbage moths.

Oregano will also be a magnet plant to keep aphids, spider mites and leaf hoppers away from the more valuable crops.
