The leaves at the bottom of one of my Agastaches has this purplish tinge, and the plant is not leafing out the way it has in the past. Could it be some kind of nutritional deficiency? Thanks for any insight.

I tried raising the plant a bit and added some sand mixture--I know Agastache likes somewhat drier conditions than my yard easily offers. I may do a little more of this, since we've had a lot of rain lately...

I read a couple articles and they said Agastache is pretty much pest and disease free. I did find this article...maybe it will help?

thanks, Jean--that's a very useful article! I have bookmarked it! Thank you so much for finding it! Looks like phosphorus is the issue. I think the spot where it's planted has sunk a little and now it's getting too wet, and I guess this is limiting the phosphorous intake for the plant? Maybe I'll try building it up higher...

You are welcome. You may want to consider adding a couple inches of gravel/rock to the planting hole to help with drainage.
