Just today, I noticed 2 sections of beds (none near the other) with what appear to be sports. Nothing nearby resembles either one. I NEVER allow my plants to bloom: they are so close together it would be total anarchy - so I'm sure it wasn't some random seed sneaking in. What do you think?

Neither one seems to be making identifiable offsets (yet), but I will keep watching.

Am consumed with curiosity to see if the offset on the 'Andorra' will revert to "normal" or resemble the oddball parent.

Kate,

I would say it is something physiological rather than a sport. Years ago Patty Drown and I used a similar sort of odd rosette in Polly Bishop's garden that eventually bloomed in our crosses. It was dramatically more red than everything else in the clump of 'Engle's Rubrum'. It bloomed without making increase. I'm betting you have something similar.

I can see the beginning of what looks like an offset on it Kate.

Yes, on tenterhooks waiting to see what that offset becomes.

Same here. Keep us updated. The offset so far looks like the normal offsets on the other rosettes.
