Welcome! Stuart. I hope someone more knowledgeable than I can help you with the ID.

By the way, your mounted Blc. Haiku Dawn 'Sunshine' is on its way.

Welcome! Stuart, what a cute little plant. You haven't ever seen it bloom by any chance?

Even a description of the flower - size, color, shape, fragrance? - would give a much better clue as to what exactly it is, I think.

Elaine, I can tell you (since I referred Stuart here) that he said the plant was ten years old and had never bloomed. That makes it tough. Perhaps someone can at least tell him what "family" this orchid belongs to.

Hmm, suggest he try some Bloom Booster fert, and maybe a bit more sunlight to see if it will make flowers. It's got some nice looking new-ish growths. The leaves look like a tiny Cattleya relative to me. Shrug!

My first thought was Tetramicra, but I think the growths are too close together.

Ursula, I think many years ago the tag on the orchid actually started with the letter "T." Maaybe Tetramica is it. Thanks. I will try Bloom Booster.

I have a Trigonidium, and they have long thin leaves like a Maxillaria, so that's not it.

Deleting genera is as important as adding them. Thumbs up

Trichoceros so far is the only one in my mind that resembles the NOID I have. Thank you for the assistance.

I thought that one might come close. Hopefully we get to see some blooms down the road. Smiling
