I have a couple of questions, first I am new to the gardening world as I just moved to 10 acres in Sanderson Florida and have set up a vegetable gardening and have a butterfly garden in process.
The 1st pictures were of a butterfly in my garden and I am trying to identify it.

Then I saw another butterfly at Home Depot yesterday and was wondering if anyone could help me identify it? The 2nd set of pictures are of that one. There are 4. They look alike to me but I am not sure.

Also, I was wondering, I have just setting up a butterfly garden and was wondering if anyone had tips on trying to identify Monarch butterflies compared to ones that may look like them. What are some tips on identifying butterflies I may see.

Thank Anyone in advance for any help and suggestions

Hi Chenoa. I'm no expert by any means. But the last four pics look like a Monarch to me. Hop on over to the Gardening for Butterflies etc forum. Lots of helpful people there.

Thank You. I am new to forums so I am not sure yet exactly where to go. Do I just repost this entire message over there?

Thank You guys very much for your imput. I was thinking that last one was a monarch, but I was kinda confused about them being in this area, as I have read about their migration process. I have not got that all figured out yet I suppose

Looks like someone moved you!

There are a lot of forums! Usually if you are not in the best forum for the info you are seeking someone will guide you to the right place.

Lots of good info all over.
