It's pretty, Mark. I've only ever seen one fully grown coffee plant that produces 'real' coffee you would roast and grind and drink. It's at the Marie Selby Botanical Garden here in Sarasota. A large, attractive shrub with very pretty white flowers, and nice red berries which the staff and volunteers are very careful to pick regularly because they make the birds pretty hyper if they feed on them.

But there is a lovely related native shrub commonly known as Wild Coffee here:
Wild Coffee (Psychotria nervosa)
It's widely used as a landscape shrub, has beautiful shiny green leaves, blooms nicely in either sun or shade, has few if any pest or disease problems and also produces small, red berries that the birds feed on. Not quite as high in caffeine, I suspect because the birds aren't quite as addicted to it as they would be . . .
