I acquired 12 new hostas this year, with 2 more yet to pick up. One from Naylor Creek, four from Green Hill Hostas, and the rest from Savory Gardens. The following pictures were taken soon after planting, so definitely not representative of what I expect in a couple of years!
hida no hana - I had to add this one after seeing the photo Rose posted a few weeks ago. I hope this plant will develop more streaking than it has right now!
Church Mouse - the little blue one in the back... couldn't be cuter!
Ivory Coast - I've wanted this one for a long time
Rare Breed - looks a little wilted right after planting. A Ron Livingston hybrid... my favorite relatively new hybridizer. I think his best known intro. is 'Red Dragon', absolutely gorgeous!
Tickle Me Pink - I tried to get an angle on this photo so the pink petioles would show.
Hobby Time - took me hours to dig out the lily-of-the-valley roots so I could plant in this spot... and I will have to remain diligent! This will be a large plant if I can keep it safe!
Leather and Lace
Gitchigumi
Ambrosia - one of my 3 new fragrants... sport of 'Guacamole'
Cherokee - another fragrant, I forget its parentage.
Smiley Face - a very cute mini - planted across the path from my mini bed and very close to 'Sum and Substance'
Royal Wedding - a sport of 'Diana Remembered', planted it close to D.R. so I can compare as it matures
