This isn't a exactly a public garden, just farm fields planted along public roads.

Yesterday, we went to Lompoc to see the 'world famous' flower fields. At one time, Lompoc produced 50 to 75% of the flower seed in the world. However, vegetables have become more profitable and most farmers have switched. I should have gone 25 years ago. We only saw about 4 flower fields but I did get some pictures. The only flower species we saw were stocks and larkspur. Supposedly Lompoc is famous for sweet peas, but we didn't see any.
