Hi Terri. What beautiful little blooms on those NOIDs.
Keep us posted on what you get from the seed. You never know, there may be a very special semp amongst the seedlings.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort!
Terri I am very excited about you getting into seed starting with sempervivum. Maybe you could come to the Hybridizing Clinic next spring. It is free, and we would love to have you come.
Terri I just found this thread - yes please do keep us posted on what you get from your seed!!
I'm supposed to be starting some myself! We'll see

It's amazing how quickly the flowers open . Turn your back for a day and the bees will have got there first . Pop a paper bag over the flower head on the semps you have selected as mummy and daddy . Or if it's in a pot bring indoors to a window .
On the subject of noids , I learned the hard way and spent many months trying to re identity what's what , they look different week to week . Nowadays I draw a plan of the bed naming each cultivar and it's position in addition to a physical label .
