That is definitely an odd looking caterpillar compared to ones I typically see. I do have a passion flower vine so maybe I will get to see one of those

Do you know what kind of passion vine you have? It will also likely attract Zebra Longwings. Their caterpillars are white with black bristles. By the way, neither caterpillar will sting you, but never touch one if you don't know! Here's the Zebra Longwing caterpillar.
