Ascot Rainbow' Euphorbia. There is conflicting info on hardiness zone. I purchased one and now wondering if I should grow it in a pot and move it to a protected area in the winter.

I grow several every year. One or two survive each winter. The ladt two winters here have been brutal

I've never seen a more reliable resource for hardiness than DG, which says Z7 for that plant. A spot with good drainage adjacent to hardscaping (brick/rock wall or patio) would probably help you succeed. Stick a few cuttings in likely spots & see what happens?

I grew it one year and loved it. All 3 died the first winter here in zone 5.

Cinta, I tried Ascot and Blackbird none survived.

I had blackbird last year did not survive the winter . I have ascot rainbow this year so I am hopeful

Thank you all. I guess in a pot it will go.

I also picked up BonFire. That one lasted 3 yrs. It barely hung on until it did not reappear. I will plant it in a protected area this time.
