Welcome! PhyllisGomes and there are lots of Ti plants with many different colors around these days. They are usually found at nurseries and in cultivated gardens though, not so much growing 'in the wild' like they would be in Hawaii.
Here is a nice selection:

Hi Phyllis, and again Welcome!

I think many of us envy your location with all the many beautiful tropical plants that grow in Hawaii! The Cordyline in your photo is amazing, love the colors!

Excelsa has such a fabulous selection but I don't think they do retail mail order. I wonder why there are so few of the more colorful Ti's available on the east coast. They are certainly easy enough to propagate.

Lowe's sells them here, quite commonly Alice. I'm gradually replacing my screen of Clero. "Shooting Stars" with the pink/green one like Phyllis's but because I'm cheap, I wait until they go on sale and buy several at a time. Also, yes I am propagating the ones I have and you're so right, they are easy.

Maybe that's why they aren't readily available? Too easy for home growers to share.

You are in the sweet spot Elaine. Lots of cool trops available in your neck of the woods. Once you get away from S. FL all you tend to find are the Red Sisters Ti. There are so many more out there like the ones on the Excelsa site. I still have a few limping along from HI but they struggle through the winter here. Too cold outside and too hot and dry in the house.

Hi Phyllis,

That's a real nice Ti plant. I just can't resist new colors when I find them at farmers Markets here on the Big Island. Usually $1 or $2 for a 2 foot cane. Get home, cut it in three and stick them in a pot until they get going then put them in the yard.
Trading is good too.
