I planted this rose back in the early 70's I have it labelled Whisky Mac but after reading the ARS Handbook I don't think its correct. Does anyone have an idea what it is?
Thanks

Well, it certainly isn't Whisky Mac. It's the wrong color and it appears to be a floribunda or a shrub rather than a hybrid tea. It reminds me of Pleasure, but that one's too new (1988) to be your rose. I'll search around and see what I can find.

Rose (Rosa 'Fancy Talk') and Rose (Rosa 'Fashion') were popular in the 1970s. I found those by searching for an orange-pink floribunda.

Under orange-pink shrubs of that era, there's a Buck rose: Rose (Rosa 'Prairie Princess') and there's this one: Rose (Rosa 'Rainbow')

I forgot about grandifloras. What about Sonia? Highly popular ever since 1970.

Rose (Rosa 'Sonia')
