I have started some more indepth reading on hybridizing more out of interest sake to be honest and it seems that this lily is mentioned a ton of time....... saying that a lot of the Western Lilies have this particular lily in their background....
Curious to know more about this one
I know Magnolialover posted a pic in the archives on here...........
all the pics I could find on the net are very small but it looks very pretty as well...........
did not see it for sale anywhere...........so not sure that it is still available..
read quite a bit about it on the lily nook and at the lily society website..

I had this Lily at one time but I believe it isn't with me anymore. I got it through a friend several years ago and the interest for me, came from Ed McRae's book. It was a lovely lily.

I now have 2 copies of his book.........
one that I can take outdoors and one that I keep indoors
I find myself referring to the book more often that I expected I would when I got it for Christmas from my son........

his pics of the species have helped as well.............

would love to have met this man. I heard that he has passed now though. One of the lily breeders that I talk to up here was good friends with him and he says he was brilliant in his time with lilies

A couple of them actually
Neigel and Joyce at the Lily Nook out west
and also to Sandra at SW Gardens........
both have met McRae and both are involved in a lot of lily shows....
they are both very knowledgeable if I need some info
bought quite a few of lily bulbs from both of them too
