I was in the garden a couple weeks ago. I set my camera down and as usual when I am in the garden the birds come and follow me around the garden to pick up the snails, worms and whatever else I unearth as I dig.

I saw out the corner of my eye a hawk picking up the strap from my camera and thought he is going to be disappointed to discover it is not a juicy meal. Well he/she picked it up and flew away with my camera.

So I said all that to say. These are crappy picks but it is what I have until I can buy another camera.

Oh Cinta, didn't you get that camera just a little while back?
Maybe you could put out a poster for it's return? "Last seen as a hawk carried it off"
I bet people would be watching out for it, and it could turn up again. Hurray!

And the photos are lovely. Thumbs up

He should have snapped my pic with me looking up with my mouth open. I was in shock. When it set in I was angry and later I just got sad. Being robbed was hard because I hate for someone to take something from me because if they asked I would give the shirt off my back.

The bird was just what the heck was he thinking feeling. That I do not understand. He picked at it long enough to know it was not a worm. I like cameras for the garden I do not like these phone cameras. They take crappy pics. I am going to keep the camera around my neck from now on.

Rolling on the floor laughing Lynn you are coming up with some good reasons.

- maybe he had a family at home and wanted a photo of them. Rolling on the floor laughing
- Maybe you could put out a poster for it's return? "Last seen as a hawk carried it off"
I bet people would be watching out for it, and it could turn up again Rolling on the floor laughing

That is the reason I will not call my insurance company. I can see them now saying first this woman loses her underwear and blames it on robbers......Now she is claiming a bird flew away with another camera. SEND THE POLICE OR LITTLE MEN WITH WHITE JACKETS FOR HER AND LOCK HER UP. Hilarious!

The camera is probably up in my 50 story trees and will never drop to the ground. I threw a ball on a rope to my dog that has been stuck in the tree for 2 yrs. He sits in the yard some time and looks up at it then looks at me. Hilarious!

Cinta, sorry for your loss.
Glad to see your sense of humor is still in tact.
Certainly the strangest story I've heard in a while.
I don't get out much though. Rolling on the floor laughing
