Last summer I traded a guy (CA) for some plumeria I did not have. Of the five tiny cuttings received, this plant is the only one that I rooted successfully and it is now blooming for the first time. His label says "Jack's Yellow Dwarf" but I could not find that name but did find "Jack's Compact Yellow". I think that's what I have. The flowers are supposed to be 3" in diameter but these flowers are at least 4" in diameter.

If it is properly labeled (by me). Do compacts normally have such huge flowers?

Was that from our trade??? Lol I traded you for a Honey queen..but it didn't make it

'compact' only refers to the growth habit of the tree, not the bloom size.

I don't know, Mark. I do a lot of trading and would have to go back and see. I hate that the Honey Queen did not survive. Generally speaking, the cuttings I trade are really large, plump ones. I don't think I even have a Honey Queen any longer. I think I sold the only rooted plant I had last summer.

It ain't over till it's over Mark. That is such a long and fat cutting to loose. The picture is not clear but Injope you can revive it. If it still firm and not rotted, it may have a chance.
