If I was to save seed from my Coleus and sow it in a pot, leaving it out all winter when it's frozen, will it sprout in Spring?

I know the actual plant can't survive frost but I never heard anything about the seeds.

Sure looks like a Coleus, Keith. But keep an eye on it. Might be some other weed that looks similar.

Coleus are fairly tender, but if the pot happened to be in a protected place, or buried by leaves or something, the seeds may survive.

It wasn't protected at all only when snow fell. I planted in late fall when it's too cold to sprout, so the seed went dormant only sprouting when it's warm now.

Update

Here are two plants that came from the same pot. One clearly is coleus, the other I don't know, could it be catnip or salvia? I had all 3 plants growing side by side last year. The green plant smells similar to catnip but this isn't as strong?

Sure looks like catnip to me. I haven't found any volunteer coleus this year but many years I do. Of course we are in a drought so that may have something to do with it.
