This is a 6-year-old cutting. The roots had distorted its pot so I hung the plant out of the way while I considered how to replant and prune. I was busy repotting my other plants and ignored it. A month later I happened to look up and was surprised to see the flower on the branch. Rolling my eyes.

9 plants bloomed practically all at once so I took a group picture. Green Grin!

Thank you, Cindi, Mark. I still haven't potted up the adenium in the second photo. The underground caudex looks almost like it has a duck/goose/chicken body. So I'm thinking...trim off all the roots on the top and sides, leaving the roots underneath, and plant it as if it is sitting on a nest? And prune the branches down to the "neck?" I'm new to this kind of treatment/sculpture. Hmm... Whistling

Thank you, Tarev! The first one was a tropical storm when it passed...lots of rain. But the second, Nangka, became a super typhoon...it has passed the Marianas chain and moving on northwest. There were no effects to us here, but three islands further north were very much affected. The islands are tiny so hopefully were not inhabited. I hope neither one hits the PI, your homeland.

Yes, I am hoping and praying it will continue on and spare my homeland..they are still reeling right now from the other typhoons that are still inducing the southwest monsoon rains there. Waterworld time Sighing!

My adenium seedlings have finally recuperated after the tropical storm and are producing buds again. I have a couple of trees that are showing buds with no red or pink pigmentation. I am hoping the flowers will either be white or yellow, the other first-time bloomers were pink or red/pink.

The underside of the leaves on this one feels velvety to the touch. You can see the patina in this picture.

Aww! Crying Gigi, we had been getting a lot of rain too. One of the plants above that had white flower buds showing isn't all white after all...has light pink tips. The first bud dropped, the second hasn't opened yet.
The other plant opened into pure white with light yellow throat...it looks so darned delicate! Finally, a white flower from my seedlings! Hurray!

Yes it is. I think great things are in the making with Kadie's plants. Good growing.

Aww...thanks guys! *Blush* These trees will still go on and do what they were destined to do regardless of my interference. Hilarious!
