I've noticed that I can't scroll forward to the place where I left off in the podcast anymore. I don't believe we have changed anything on our computer, but really am not sure. I just listen to it from the site. I never could get the MP3 download to let me scroll through. Any suggestions that I could try?

Thanks!

Have you tried doing the mp3 download lately? If you have software on your computer that plays mp3 files, then when you download it and listen through there it should let you go forward and backward without issues.

Dave, thanks for the info. Something must have changed on my computer, because I just clicked on MP3 download on the daylily podcast and all it does is say 'connecting' and just keeps acting like it is going to load. Maybe I'm not letting it work long enough??? Like right now it is been saying 'connecting' for over 4 minutes.

I have some Paul Harvey MP3 files that I downloaded in 2013 and those open up in the Windows Media Center. I can still listen to the podcasts like I normally do, I'll just have to make sure I have a long enough span of time to listen to it all in one sitting Smiling

Sounds like I need to redo the audio player I'm using for the podcast.

Ok, I am pretty sure I found out what the big roadblock is, and I've redone the audio player. Please give it a try now and it should work fine. There's a slider now that you can use to go forward or backward in the podcast.

I am at work (edited to add that I am on my lunch hour, of course, lol) and it works for me here! I will try it at home, but I'm sure it will work.

Thanks so much Dave!

Well, I am home now and I can use Firefox to listen directly from the ATP site (which is what I normally use) and can go forward and backward. I was also able to open the podcast directly from the site in IE, but was unable to go backward and forward. However, I was able to open the MP3 download in IE (after about a 1 minute download) and was able to go forward and backward in it.

I was using Google Chrome at work and it did fine. Not being terribly savvy about computers, I'm not sure if the browsers being used have anything to do with it or not, but thought I would let you know what I used, what worked, and what didn't.

I am especially looking forward to listening to Jon talk about his daylilies, so off I go!

Thanks again!

Vickie
