Greetings, I haven't posted in this forum in a while.

I bought 3 cuttings when I was in Maui in February, and they were potted today.

Unfortunately, my DH slipped and fell and seriously injured himself. I'm so far behind on taking care of the garden and my tropical plants.

The cuttings are still fine, one even has an infloresence. However, the tags shows the color of the blooms, but gives no names. Any idea of what these could be? They were bought at the ABC store in Kaanapali.

These will be unknowns until they show their true blooms. I would not necessarily assume that the picture is what you will get....

I agree Even with blooming, you may never really know what they are. They could have been grown from seed and the picture might only represent the seed-pod parent.

Hetty and Ken,

Thanks for your responses Smiling Hopefully, when they bloom in a few years, I'll post pics of the flowers, and maybe find out which plants they are then.

My cuttings have rooted nicely. Two of them have inflos that I have not removed. One inflo is drying up without blooming, the other opened a bloom today.

It has a wonderful scent, and I'm thrilled that the bloom is such a beautif color.

Thanks Cheryl😁. They were planted on July 11, and this one bloomed less than 3 months later.

Sweet - planted just 3 months ago and no leaves and blooming. Heh. At least I have hope.

Very beautiful Hurray!

Your cutting is looking a lot like mine, (mine does not have flowers yet) I think it's amazing how the cutting can produce an inflo with out fully developed leaves.
I still have not watered mine since it was first put in the pot. Have you watered yours at all?

Thanks Lucky! I started watering my plants small amounts when the leaves started to emerge. They were kept dry prior to that.

Thanks tarev😁!
