All About Milkweed

It took many years but it finally occurred to me that some of our most common plants have a more colorful history than our notably famous people do. The common milkweed is one of them.

Aunt Bett was a very good teacher and the more time that passes the more I realize all the good she taught me. I was lucky.
Seems like every trip up the mountain with her was an adventure that taught me how to deal with life.

Took me a long time to learn those lessons, though.
