The plumeria have never looked healthier! They love the heat and so far I've been able to keep up with watering. Îalways enjoyed healthy plants. Even Riviera the Rainbow that got ran over is sprouting new leaves.

So of course now all of the sudden this week, leaves have a sudden yellowing to it, i see abnormal leaf folds and puckering on 3 of the trees. Aphids or other sucking insect have been near by on other non -plumeria plants . They all got a spray is insecticidal soap and a good leaf-cleansing shower after. I didn't use SuperBloom but rather changed to Miracle-Gro Bloom Fertilizer . I'm about to add Epsom Salts for good measure. Any more hints?

I am going to get on my soapbox again about Miracle Grow and similar products. These are designed to give a quick boost to (generally) annuals. They do nothing for the overall health of a tree. To get a healthy tree you will need to give your plants a well balanced time-release fertilizer. A healthy tree will bloom. (Off soapbox now)

I did also give it Osmocote late spring. But yes, I got blooms from Superbloom this year. My NOID white has inflo which I am excited about. Pink Pudica has been blooming for weeks. The other one was a late bloomer last year. A NOID pink at 5 feet tall has never bloomed in 3 years with the cutting. And the rest of mine are either too young, got cut back, or got ran over. Overall I am happy with my outcome so far except for this sudden yellowing. So you think it's insects??

Oops. I meant to say Miracle Gro. I used MiracleGro Bloom Boostser Flower Food this year. It is not the regular Miracle Gro but the one that "promotes more blooms" . The N-P-K is 30-15-30. Not as high as Super bloom. I couldn't find Super Bloom at the time. It's still hard to find locally. I thought MG was better than nothing at all.

I use on called Mother of All bloom... by Mad Farmer... 0-52-32...no complaints here!!

I am giving the ailing trees a good powerful leaf wash with the hose sprayer every day from underneath hoping to flush out whatever these bugs are. I can't see anything on the leaves. There is no webbing, no bugs, no droppings. Nothing! I am losing leaves daily off my Pink Piduca. And then there is the leaf curl and discoloration. I spray the soap on at night so it can sit there out of the sunlight doing its killing job. Any ideas for me before this spreads further??

Oh no Cheryl I just read this. I hope your plants recover. I only use SuperBloom, superthrive and miracle grow slow release
