Starting Saturday morning and running all next week is vegetables week. We're going to try to feature articles about veggies and maybe feature particularly good varieties on the homepage. This is a good opportunity to spread our enthusiasm for garden edibles to the rest of the ATP community.

Anyone who would like to submit an article (even if it's just a short piece) is very welcome to do so! If you need help doing that, send me a tree mail and I'll be glad to help you out.

Do you have a favorite variety of tomatoes? Do you know a trick to growing peppers that nobody else seems to know? This is your chance to get in the spotlight! Write a few paragraphs about it and you're done!

All summer long is veggie week in my garden. Hilarious! Hilarious! But I am glad ATP veggie week is coming. Gives us even more incentive to talk veggies.

I did send over some articles.

Ditto, Great concept to encourage home gardening. I don't have anything I can do in the time span.

@RickCorey at a loss for words?! Blinking Hilarious!

Rick if you had something brief to say about the your favorite 5 to 10 leafy greens, that'd be awesome!

Too funny! Hilarious! Hilarious!

If I had anything BRIEF to say on almost any topic, I wouldn't be me.

But I'll think about it this weekend and try.

I agree Me too! Thumbs up My veggie garden is the highlight of the summer for me. Yes, I have plenty of flowers and I do love my flowers but but the veggies are extra special.

I like to bring back my favorites year to year and then each year I always try out at least some new to me varieties. Especially in tomatoes. So many out there to try. That way I find new favorites too.

Then there are things like summer squash. I grow many varieties from seed. The nursery has common green zucchini seedlings simply labeled green zucchini. It also has yellow summer squash labeled as such. No variety designation. So by growing my own from seed I get so many really nice summer squash here.
