A friend sent me this from a garden in London. I thought it might be a kind of Physalis but can't find one that has this colour flower, and the leaves look wrong.

Any ideas?

I think it is a Malvaviscus Turk's Cap (Malvaviscus penduliflorus)

I'm not sure about the exact species or cultivar, but I believe that is a type of Physalis called Chinese Lantern.

I tend to agree with @Bamira , trailing Brazilian Bellflower Abutilon megapotamicum. The pic Sue posted shows the calyx, not the blooms.

Physalis the leaves on the base taper, teeth is not
Abutilon has teeth, leaves on the base inside, the shape of the heart
common names of the two plants is the Chinese lanterns
