Hello, I grow the oldie grape smelling iris. It may have a name but I don't know it. It is from my mom's house and been there for years. Are any of the newer ones fragrant?

There are many fragrant iris. If you search in the database, you'll find lots said to have one. Come back if you need help.
I think this is the Iris I grew up with .... I. pallida. I just planted (2) of them in pots. I can't wait to see them in bloom and smell their fragrance.
There's also odoratissima that has a divine fragrance. I should have taken fragrance notes this past spring. I had quite a few that smelled good. Ginger snap smells like root beer.
It's a shame so many of the newer ones smell kinda skunky.
