I am thinking of adding a pond and would like to know things to think about when deciding. I was thinking of doing concrete, but not sure cause of temps during summer ( am near palm springs, ca where it gets 116 or so during august). Was thinking of maybe a few hundred gallons or so (pond around 6 foot wide and 8 foot long ranging from 2 foot on 1 end to around 3.5 foot on other end). Any input would be great.

Too shallow for Palm Springs, I'm thinking....and where are you going to get the water to fill it?
