Up til now, when you added a tag to your multi plant photo, you had to (in another browser window) find each plant in the database and copy and paste the URL to the plant into the tag. It was cumbersome, time consuming, and difficult for newbies.

I'm pleased to announce that I just updated the system and now it's as easy as pie. When you are making a tag, it now brings up a nice dialog box with a search bar. You just search for your plant and it'll pull down a list of matches. Click the plant that matches and you're done! No more multiple windows, no more copying and pasting of plant IDs, none of that.

With this new change, I also recorded a tutorial on how to use multi plant images, and will be uploading that to youtube soon. If you're a youtube member, subscribe to our channel by clicking on the Youtube logo at the bottom of this page, and you can then watch the tutorial as soon as its posted. For everyone else, we'll have the tutorial posted as an idea on the homepage at some point this week.

Hmmm, maybe I need to reboot my computer because I just tried it with a new image and nothing different happens, no dialog box with a search bar.

Can you give me the steps you're following? There might be a bug here but I don't have enough information. I've tried editing images and it's working fine. Please tell me what you're clicking on.

I drag to create a box as usual, same box appears to enter plant name or ID, I type name, nothing different happens.

Sue, go back to that page and hold down shift and while holding that, press the reload button in your browser. Then it should work.

Here I am confused again I'm trying to tag a white Zahara Zinnia in a multiple plant photo. When I type that name in it calls it an error. Also Zahara Orange. When I type in Zinnia Zahara several choices come up which are not correct and then when I attempt to page down to see if there are more choices the names will not move. Help......

Could it be because Zahara is the trade name?

This link says that the botanical name of the Zahara Zinnia is Zinnia marylandica.

Zahara White and Zahara Orange are not in our database, Paul. You'd have to add the plants first.

Curious that I can't subscribe to YouTube ... does anyone know if they require a GOGGLE email account to subscribe with? I tried two non-Google email accounts.

Any account works. You don't have to have a google account to subscribe.
