The first drawing shows the seed still in the seed pod, the 2nd one shows a picture of the empty seed pod.
If you want to collect seeds, you'll have to check the seed pods every day and collect the seeds before the plant launches the seed.
Or you can use organza baggies to avoid that seeds are launched into your garden.

Thank you Jonna. I had to go out and look at mine and I see what they're talking about. I've got some small mesh bags that I use for my Lily of the Nile seeds that I'll put around some of the stalks to see if I can catch any seeds.
