Kirsha Maya is without a doubt on one the longest bloomers here........I am totally fascinated with this plant. Amazing flowers and so on as well. Great scent and been in bloom here for well over a month and still has a couple of blooms left to go and survived the big wind storm. this lily did not have to be staked either......
I am ordering another 10 of these next spring........... think this is becoming one of my favourite lilies

and then there is some orange asciatic lily here...... quite a few of them in the gardens and they were star performers. Brightened the garden and had long lasting blooms.... big solid flowers and big solid stems.......
they will multiple fast and I am happy about that...... Sorry NO name.......maybe someone can tell me the name of the orange ones....

and then there is Leslie Woodruff ..........wow that plant has bloomed going on 6 weeks now and still has a few to open yet..........

Henryi has been blooming for some time and lots more of them to open yet

and also one of the best lilies I have in the garden this year was Regale. Can not say enough about them. Big blooms, big stems and heavy with flowers and long long lasting.......I have so many of these around the garden ...... they are all getting their own space with some Regale Album in a separate bed this fall.......regale album was nice but the bloom time was not as long as Regale was.......

lets hear yours....

black beauty has not bloomed here yet and the lily breeder said they bloom forever and one of the last lilies to bloom in the garden. Will see how I feel about that later..

I would say the longest blooming lilies in my yard are L. henryi and Silver Scheherezade. Both beautiful lilies that seem to last and last

4 to 5 weeks in full sun.

Ultra heavy petal substance and high bud count make it possible.

Butter - Cream Shasta daisy. Great colors, great flowers and in constant bloom going on 2 months.
I know it is not a Lily but it still impresses me.

A very good thread Smiling .
I do grow some of the lilies mentioned and others I'll be sure to make a note of. This year most lilies that has the good taste to open buds at a slow pace and not all at once have bloomed very long, but because of our cold weather, I'd hesitate to add them, as it wouldn't necessarily be representative behaviour. Perhaps I'd make an exception for 'Silk Road' as it really does deserve to be mentioned as well and I believe it to be a rather well known long bloomer (at least mature stems of it).

Would love to see a pic of Silk Road..

I forgot to mention Pink Brilliant........wow that flower was huge huge and stayed like forever as well even in the heat.......
I brought one flower in and put in a bowl and it kept open for over 10 days floating........and that is impressive......

Actually one that I forgot to mention and lasted the longest I think of all the lilies
was Lankon...........another great lily.......
the smell of Lankon can not be matched....I wish they made real perfume that smelled like Lankon.........it is beautiful

Miss Feya

The stem started blooming on or shortly before July 24 (the day I first collected pollen) and still has two blooms open on it. So I would say at least a month and a bit more on this one.

Well Black Beauty has come into bloom since I first posted this thread and the temps here have been in the high 80's without the hummidex so I can see where this is going to be a strong performer as well........
the roselily that I posted a long time ago on lilies in bloom thread is still blooming out there noticed today and that is really a long time it has been blooming............. the last of them are still to open here..........

Lankon got hooked by something..........I see a bud on it full of some kind of seeds and thought it did not get mixed any other lilies. so will open it when ready and see if any of the seeds are fertile or not and then I noticed HOW green the stems are on Lankon in regards to the other lilies and very straight up.......... a very healthy lily here too and a LONG long bloomer for me anyhow........ I hope they are taller next year so I do not have to bend to see the flowers...

I am pulling this thread ahead from last year to this year and see if anyone has noticed anything different this year......

Here the longest bloomer this year was Leslie Woodruff and it bloomed for 6 weeks plus............... Regale last year was great but with the heat this year the blooms opened and bloomed fast... I had pretty good luck with some of the OT's here and Pink Brilliant again was a longer bloomer. I am hoping we never have a hot and humid year like this ever again to be honest.......

Went through this thread again and am going to add some of the suggestions..............
thanks for your input.

I think I will not be adding any more Leslie Woodruff since I got some from the breeder last year in mixed bulbs........but that is one lily that is a MUST for all gardens.......... Hurray!

I just found this site...lovely.
Did everyone but me know to pick off the stamens from the lily to keep the bloom open?
I'm on day 3 of my first bloom with the orange/gold with burgundy freckles Asiatic Lily. It looks as fresh as first day of opening.
