There are threads where an insect has been identified, but the photo(s) have subsequently been removed. Seems like it would be hard to justify those threads taking up space after the photos are removed. Why do the photos go away?

The person posting the thread can always edit their old post and remove it but I don't know why they would.

None of us are removing photos from threads as far as I know.

Well, yes. I figured that. But if they are removed, what's the point in leaving the threads up? Nothing to match to the comments and suggestions. I don't see why they would remove them either, but it sure leaves the rest of the thread hanging.

The thread "Can anyone ID this from the bug lovers thread?" in Insect and Bug ID forum

This was one. I think it's me. I see a link that works and I was looking for a photo in the post and missed the link.

The thread "Can anyone ID?" in Insect and Bug ID forum

This was the other one I saw. But I see that it was fixed in the following post where it wasn't working.

I just need to pay closer attention. Sometimes I'm checking threads out in a hurry. They can consume a lot of time if I'm not careful Smiling . I'm often not careful and the time just goes by, bye, bye, bye! Big Grin

In the first thread you mention Donald, the photo is there, but you have to follow the link to see it. Just click on the link.
