Can anyone id this plant and tell me if i can trim it up and make it look tidy i want to make it like a square or is this one of them shrubs

Not easy to tell from your photos but it could be a Boxwood; if so, yes, you can trim it up.

One thing I can see in the photo is your air conditioning unit...trimming the plant will allow better air flow to the A/C unit and it will run more efficiently.
