I collected some Golden Alexander seeds today. There were not many left, maybe birds, or they've dropped, so I figured I best get what I could now.

The heads and stems were brown, so I believe they are completely dry. I am planning on passing these to others, Is there any way to make sure they are good seed, not duds?

For a home gardener, a germination test is a way of testing seeds.
Count out 10 seeds onto a moist paper towel and keep in a warm place.
See if they germinate or not.

That is the simplest test.
Golden Alexanders may need some chilling before they will germinate?

All the seeds I have collected need to be chilled. Some require 60 days in the fridge.
