The USPS now has a line of postage stamps celebrating the produce offered at farmer's markets. Zazzle.com also has a selection of fruit and vegetable stamps.

My post office didn't have any and skirted the issue as to whether they ran out of them, or never got them in, even though a picture of them was posted on their counter !

I have a friend who used to work for the PO. Hated it! So when he buys stamps he buys the most colorful ones he can find. Says it cost more for color. The more color, the more it costs the PO. He tries to stick it to the PO but really he's sticking it to himself. hahahahaa

I love that tomato stamp ! In fact, they have an awful lot of really cool stamps...

SO many, that I have to think... the postal service is always reporting huge losses in terms of revenue; wouldn't it make sense to spend less money on printing so many different kinds of stamps and just have the basic ones? And maybe offer one special one every few months, mainly for collectors; wouldn't they be more meaningful as a collectible that way? Just sayin'....
