One note caution about the Schreiner's catalog, you might want to check other sources for pictures before deciding which irises you want to buy. You'll always get great quality rhizomes from Schreiner's, but the pictures in the catalog occasionally leave a bit to be desired.
Rick Ernst owned Cooley's Gardens which, along with Schreiner's, were two of the biggest names in the iris world for decades. There is a brief post about the end of Cooley's here:
http://theamericanirissociety.... . I heard Schreiner's bought Cooley's plant stock after Mr. Ernst passed away, but am not sure if that is correct or not. They don't seem to be offering very many of his plants for sale at the moment.
