This is the first time that smoke has been so bad as to interfere with gardening. The health authorities are advising us to stay indoors. So I am cleaning seeds which I had already gathered.

Hi Caroline! Are you breathing any easier today?

The smoke has been horrible here, very heavy this morning but the wind changed this afternoon and has blown a lot of it away. We also had some rain overnight and again this morning which helped.

Still here today and likely through tomorrow too.
Breathing is difficult, and eyes and throat are itchy!

My eyes, nose and throat kind of burns and it gives me a headache, to go along with extra coughing with my asthma.

It certainly is not pleasant for any of us.
I hope that the rain gets there soon, and calms the smoke down.
