Is there a 'do' and 'don't for multi-plant images? I just took a few photos of my Moon Flower with about 15 or so blooms and my Heartleaf Ice Plant in the background. However, my sign for my alarm company is showing as well as my hose.

I might try to crop those things out, if possible. But, those are things that are common to have/see in a garden & often help lend scale. I'm sure if you think the pic is worth sharing, others will think it's enjoyable to see. If there's an actual rule, we both need schoolin,' which I'm sure will be shared here soon if applicable. I like to cooperate & follow rules when they exist. Look forward to seeing some of your pics!

I'm not sure, but I think the only "rule" about extraneous "stuff" in photos is if you're uploading a photo to the entry for a specific plant in the database. In that case, fingers and toes and furry friends are discouraged. Hilarious! But my feeling, at least, for multi-plant images isn't so much to post a pretty picture (although most are!), but to show different plants growing together in different geographic areas and how they complement one another. My humble opinion only, tho.
Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.
