My son sent me a text today, with a picture of a cactus flower he said I'd given him 15 years ago and it's just bloomed for the first time. I don't remember it; and I'm pretty sure I don't even have it anymore in my garden and if I do, it too has never bloomed. Can anyone help. Thank You!

It looks like an epiphyllum hybrid. I'm just guessing, maybe Hybrid Epiphyllum (Epiphyllum 'White Splendor'). Anyway, it's a beautiful flower, bee included.

Could it be a Dogtail cactus (Selenicereus Deamia Testudo)? Love the flower!

Can your son text a photo of the rest of the plant? Also, how big is it? Is it living outside? Where?

I think it is a cereus of some kind - the columnar cactus. The part of the body of the cactus that is visible appears to me, to be too big for epiphyllum and such type cacti. That looks like an upright columnar cactus to me behind the flower.
It is what it is!

I agree on the Cereus. Mine bloomed once three or four years ago.
