I didn't get any good bee pics but here's the dragonfly of the day. Usually I take a few photos and hope that I got one good one but all four of the shots came out pretty good, I think, so haven't deleted any.

I love its glowing green eyes!
it is really a sweet, little sand wasp, genus Bembix, likely B. americana, but I can't really know.
Very challenging to photograph in the wind and bad light and it was bouncing all over the place and it just would not pose for me within my range Hilarious!

Interesting little sand wasp Dirt... it says here http://mdc.mo.gov/discover-nat... that its a friendly wasp and you can feed the cute little thing out of your hand if you present it with a fly. Hilarious!
