A Kentucky friend of mine just posted these pictures on Facebook, raving about his wonderful Mandevilla plants. It looks a lot like a Clematis to me.

My questions,
1. Are there Mandevilla that look at all like this?

2. If a Clematis, does anyone know the variety?

Not Mandevilla at all. Definitely clematis, possibly HF Young.

I agree with Pirl that this is clematis, not mandevilla.
