Thread OP

I have my trade list posted for sale on The Blooming auction, that is thebloomingauction.com. I also have a few special ones not listed for sale like Kushi Maya and my PitPar seedlings for trades. Since there are no good customers on the internet anymore and I have permanently crippled myself digging last fall I am not so keen on selling anything anymore but need the space for my seedlings that are ready to plant. I doubt that I will bother selling anything after this year except seeds to the wholesaler since I get PAID from him. I have many other bulbs are listed there too and will be having my 2nd annual yard sale soon (I do sell the yard) so if anyone is interested in anything other than lilies let me know, Lilies are not ready to dig yet so will keep a while.
I am primarily looking for Orientals lilies of my own breeding, older cultivars, (like ROSARIO) species or seed since what I last purchased was DOA or worse I won't be buying any more seed or bulbs again, it is just far too painful to have to dig them out. I am also looking for a pink Japanese iris that is really pink like the one I used to produce.

Thanks for letting me know about your Booming Auction ones. I've been busy digging lilies that I sold this year for the last 3 days, but of course I found some of yours that I need.

I am now digging and will be starting my "yard" sale soon, my bulbs sell very well here since - as you can imagine, nobody here has seen anything like them! Either in bloom or in bulb.
Anyway if there is anything you want please let me know, they are listed on The Blooming Auction, except for Momentous, I only have small bulbs of those left. There is not likely to be any of these next year, I cannot walk anymore, or drive or sit for long, basically anything that requires bending my bad hip. Digging can only be done on drugs so I won't be planting more than one landscape bulb back, I am making room for my precious seedlings.
In addition to what is listed there are some precious ones that I do not have listed that I can trade, like my PitPar seedlings still in the seed flat.

I'm sorry to hear about your health issues, Lisa. We are not getting any younger, are we?

I wished I could order Liliums from you!

Cheers,

Hi Lisa. I did a trade with you last year. You sent Eloide (which was small but it did bloom and hoping for larger next year. It was a really tough spring) and I sent Razzle Dazzle and some pieces of Tiramasu. How did Tiramasu do? Pretty much all of my Orienpets rotted due to the freeze rain thaw cycle this spring including Tiramasu. Hope yours did well.

Received my beautiful bulbs from Lisa today. Just as nice as I remember. Looking forward to seeing them bloom next year. Thanks!

Tiramasu is growing fine, in a large pot in the shade. Fortunately all the small starts in containers did OK in the heat and the !@#$! squirrels have not gotten them (they even dig under my screens sometimes)
Razzle Dazzle aborted (MANY did here due to bad temp. fluctuations in the "spring" - or get frost bit, but it should be even bigger and better next year. It was a terrible season here, the usual alternating weeks of summer/winter (very hard on the plants) followed by extreme heat starting in May thru Oct. We are very nice this Oct but a bit warm up until now. Now it is just nice. This in no way makes up for the hell on earth summer in which many bulbs just keeled over early and some may be dead.
The gardener's curse = "next season will be better....."
Anyway I still have many lilies to trade, most are listed on the Blooming Auction but I have a few small starts not listed and possibly some starts to trade in the spring. All my seed flats/pot are going into the shop (insulated) this fall and I will take them apart this winter to see what is good to plant out. I used to keep them in a closeted off coal chute in the basement but can no longer manage the stairs well enough to carry them up and down.
I have many other bulbs/plants listed on the Blooming auction if anyone is interest in trades.
I am primarily looking for species seed/seedlings and some of my babies. I have also tried several Martagons here and they do well, they bloom before the killer heat strikes! I have several batches of Trumpets started from my own crosses to get planted this year and many more Western American hybrids to fit into my diminishing yard so have dug several lilies to make more room!
Sorry I don't get over here often, my body doesn't like sitting either........and my computer is old and ornery.....
Anyway anyone looking to trade treemail or email and let me know, before hell freezes over and I can't ship!
